YouX is a not-for-profit organisation that can provide the opportunity for you to promote your volunteering program to over 20,000 students.
Opportunities listed will be displayed in a ‘Job’s board’ style. Volunteers will be responsible for engaging with your opportunity and following any relevant processes for your organisation.

Terms and Conditions
- Organisations seeking volunteers must be a not-for-profit organisation, with a registered ABN.
- You must complete the attached form with all relevant information.
- Images and logos will be requested.
- You must upload all relevant safety and liability documentation. Failure to complete this will result in your request being invalid. These include:
- Public Liability Insurance
- Work Health & Safety and/or Risk Management Plan
- Accessibility & Inclusion Plan and/or Statement
- Volunteer opportunities may be one offs or ongoing.
- Volunteer shifts must be under 4hrs, or a 30 minute break must be allocated.
- It is at the volunteer’s discretion to engage and complete any induction or on boarding processes relating to your volunteer role. Please include this expectation in your listing information.
- YouX appreciates feedback on the student’s volunteer experience. You will be contacted by the YouX Volunteer Coordinator after your event to check in on the student’s experience.
- Any organisation which behaves unlawfully or inappropriately towards a volunteer who contacts them through the opportunity listing will be prevented from using the service and where appropriate, students will be referred to the relevant legal authority.
- The External Volunteering Listings is a public web page and any details published there will be available to the University of Adelaide students and wider community.
- It is the organisations responsibility to ensure they abide by all volunteer rights, including the Work Health & Safety Act 2012, SafeWork regulations and the Volunteers Protection Act 2001.
