I am Muskaan Gupta, running for the disability officer. I am a strong advocate for health and wellbeing. This year has been exceptionally hard on everyone and student care and support services need to be more accessible. Services like counselling and disability support require more funding allocated to them to able to support the arising needs of students.

I know what it feels like to battle with your thoughts, living with an invisible ailment. While we can’t let our illness define us, it sure affects us. My aim is to ensure all disabilities are catered for around campus and that we have a say in all decisions that might affect us.

I also aim to form a self-care society under the council so we can all come together to talk and share information that others can benefit from.

The team I am running with have been able to do so much in 2020 to support students. Did you love PNG, NGP, WNF for semester 1 & 2? Or benefitted from $500 student support packages? We will continue to make changes that bring a real difference to YOUR life on campus.
