My name is Georgia Honan and I am proud to be running for Women's Officer as part of the Connect team. We want the University of Adelaide to be an exciting, vibrant, and sustainable campus, and we are all about improving your student experience. As university returns to face-to-face teaching after COVID-19, it is vital we restore campus culture and make University a place people want to study – in person! Your Student Services and Amenities Fee funds the AUU and SRC, and we think this money should be put towards bigger events and parties, more free services like the Breakfast Club, and making sure the AUU leads the way in the University’s carbon-neutral target. We know Clubs are the backbone of campus culture, and we want more opportunities for clubs to promote themselves and engage with students. This year has shown a good working relationship between student representatives and the University is key to achieving outcomes for students, and we will continue our proven track record of working collaboratively with the University to ensure students’ interest are put first.
