My name is Felix and I’m a fourth year Law and International Studies student. I’m running for Education Officer because I believe that every student should receive a quality education and that the SRC needs to fight strongly for that.

I think that the Education Officer needs to be experienced and representative of a wide variety of students. I’ve had experience in clubs, student media, faculty boards, university committees and more. I’ve always passionately believed in a quality education, a value instilled in me by my parents, both of whom are dedicated teachers. I’m eager to connect with students, relay their concerns to the university and advocate on their behalf for any education issues they have.

If elected I will fight against fee hikes, trimesters, university mergers and other attempts to degrade education! But my top priority will be to represent you and to make sure that every student at this university, regardless of faculty, year level, age, cultural background, socio-economic status or any other factor, can get a world class education at a world class university.
