My name is Khang. I am a first-year student studying Bachelor of Computer Science. Even though I just came to Adelaide at the beginning of this year, I have had a desire to become a Student Representative as I see how much I can attribute to the university community as well as support other students overcome workloads and stress via the events and activity that a Student Representative can do. I decided to work for this position as I understand it is never easy to start and get used to a new environment, especially International students who came to Adelaide to study without their family besides me. In the past, I also experienced the same situation as you have to do everything by yourself, overcome homesickness to study in a far-away home country. For that reason, becoming an Student Representative is the best way that I can share my experience and how I overcame struggles in Adelaide that I have gained so far with other students and represent the students to voice out any problem that they might not be able to.
