Hi, I’m Tom (He/Him), a Master of Public Health student, and I would like to represent you as the 2021 Postgraduate Officer (Coursework). The impact of COVID-19 has increased the challenges of life at university but to fight these challenges we need a strong and active voice on the Student Representative Council fighting for us as we venture into these next phases.

As postgraduate students we face a reality of anxiety about our future, a government happy to continue pilfering our tertiary education and research sector, and an ever-growing increase to the precarious conditions that mould our present and shape our future. COVID-19 may not be the sole cause of these problems, but it has worked to uncover just how deep these problems are that we face.

In these trying times we need to ensure that our concerns are not only heard but fought for. If elected to the SRC I will provide that support. I’ll be that strong and active voice on the SRC advocating strongly for the issues relevant to our situation and importantly, I'll work to ensure no one is left to fall through widening gaps.
