Hi, I'm Will, and I'm in my second year of a Law/Arts double degree. I'm running to be an SRC General Councillor to make sure students' voices are heard, and that students get the best outcomes from University decisions. This means holding University decision-makers to account, something that I believe is fundamental to being a student representative.
There are mulitple policies which I am passionate about, among which are; standardising assignment submission times at 23:59pm, standing up against Federal Government attacks on higher education, making sure the RCC works for students, reforming application processes for clubs so that they can fully flourish, affiliating the Women's Collective and the Pro-Choice Club, and many more.
I also believe in maintaining direct contact with the students who I'd represent. That's why I'd institute 'Bevs with Brodders', a fortnightly catch-up where you'd let me know about any issues or concerns, big or small, that you might have, as well as general feedback about what you want to see from your SRC.
If you like the sound of all that, I'd appreciate your support this student elections week, and feel free to come up to me anytime to have a chat!
