Students are isolated, poorer and more vulnerable. We need genuine representation, an SRC that isn’t afraid to tell the University when they get it wrong. From the COVID-19 response to a VC that didn’t understand consent, Student Welfare hasn't been protected. That’s why the SRC exists.

On University Council I pushed for moving the Semester 1 Census date, Fee reductions, criticism of fee hikes and transparency during ICAC. I have supported Mandatory Sexual Assault/Disclosure training for all representatives, helped organise the ICAC Rally with staff and students, created (with the Wo-Co) a plan for ending Sexual Assault on Campus and fought for Online Elections since the pandemic began. I am personally committed to understanding communities/groups that I am not from, and so should any candidate running.

Next year Unite and I want (non-exhaustive):

  • Plan to stop Sexual Assault/Harassment on Campus
  • Campaign to reduce Counselling wait lists
  • Exam Welfare Packs – EXPANDED
  • Actionable Report to revive Campus Culture made by and with Clubs, starting with fee-less booking for Club Stalls
  • Accessible advocacy on University Committees
  • Transparent AUU Meetings, no Confidential Meetings
  • Respected University Communities (Affiliating the Women’s Collective and Pro-Choice Club)
