As a first year representative, getting to know and interacting with my peers has been an extremely rewarding experience. Now, I want to expand my responsibilities, and be a coherent voice of the entire student body. I will ensure that their concerns are going to the right place and taken care of properly. I want them to have a sense of unity and belonging to the university.  So far, as a team we have had a lot of achievements. I want to help the SRC reach even greater heights with my contributions. My goal is to map out ways and direct students to the correct resources that they will need to have as much of a fulfilling university experience as possible. For example, increasing the focus on the language barrier issue, planning more social events so that students can get the opportunity to socialize. Furthermore, I would work to improve and increase the benefits that the university offers international students such as appeal for programs that provide opportunities for the international students to work on campus.
