Having served as the 2020 Welfare Officer, I've seen firsthand just how important it is for student representatives to be transparent and committed to putting students first. In an effort to demonstrate genuine and consistent student advocacy, I've organised and distributed over 600 welfare packages on- and off-campus, collaborated with the AUU to organise and run Stress Less Week, stood in solidarity with the Women's Collective, and fought for domestic and international students' rights during COVID-19. The driving force behind these initiatives has been my passion for mental health issues, social justice, and an inclusive campus for all.

The United team that I stand with has also been responsible for mandatory sexual assault and disclosure training for all representatives, and fought for your right to vote online (we campaigned for this since the pandemic began). Next year, we plan to expand on the welfare package initiative, revive campus culture with fee waivers for clubs stalls and accessible club’s grants, hold transparent AUU meetings (no more hiding in-camera), and affiliating the Women’s Collective and Pro Choice Club to the AUU.

For a team that cares about the education we receive and culture we experience, vote Unite on the SRC & AUU.
