Hi! I’m Anjali. I come from an ethnic background myself and am able to connect to university students who, like me, have culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. As your Ethno-Cultural Officer, I will be making sure that students of all ethnic backgrounds have their say in the university and are included in all university events and decisions. By voting for me, you can be confident that alongside greater inclusiveness of ethnically diverse students in the university community, you will be able to take part in a range of events and actions that are catered to students from diverse cultures, backgrounds and ethnicities. I will also promote all students to get involved in and experience initiatives showcasing the wide multicultural community harboured at our university.

The SRC needs to continue focusing on facilitating students as partners in decision making, fostering a safe community, and supporting students to drive campus culture. We need to make the SRC a genuine fighting body that pursues a student agenda, supporting ALL clubs and societies as the grassroot representative bodies of students. Vote for me and the entire UNITE team for the AUU and SRC elections to stand in favour of student rights, wellbeing, and inclusivity.
