Hello, my name is Patrick Pile and I’m running to be your SRC Welfare Officer with Rebuild.

I’m running because of courses having exams that are unfairly weighted against your overall couse grade making it increasingly difficult to pass given the circumstances.

• A policy that I want to see would be that all causes that require textbooks be provided to all students be free and online.
• Another policy that I would like to see would be an expansion of all support services for students.

The Rebuild team and I are REAL advocates for students and the issues that affect them, which is why in 2025 we want to push these causes:

• A dedicated helpline for students during SWOTVAC and exams as well as capping exam weighting at 50%

• Embedding the student voice into decision-making through constant student consultation
• Free menstrual products in bathrooms for students in need.
• Additional practical environmental action on campus and pushing for a greener university
• Making sure the transition to a new university is smooth for students during the merger.

We’re progressive and ready to prove ourselves. Vote Rebuild to put a cap on exam weighting and bring practical change for students.
