Hello, my name is Mingzhi Zhang and I’m running to be your SRC General Councill with Rebuild.

I’m running because I can fight for the rights of students and make some changes that can genuinely help . So please Vote Rebuild - for a progressive student council". In 2025, to address this I want to push for the following policy:

• Free afternoon tea is provided to students.

The Rebuild team and I are REAL advocates for students and the issues that affect them, which is why in 2025 we want topush these causes:

• A dedicated helpline for students during SWOTVAC and exams as well as capping exam weighting at 50%

• Embedding the student voice into decision making through constant student consultation 

• Free menstrual products in bathrooms for students in need.

• Additional practical environmental action on campus and pushing for a greener university

• Making sure the transition to a new university is smooth for students during the merger.

We’re progressive and ready to prove ourselves. Vote Rebuild to Increase campus activities and bring practical change for students.
