Hi I am Wella, I am your independent candidate for Women's Officer. As a feminist, I believe in women has the power of collective action to create meaningful change. During my time at the university, I have:
- Advocated for Free, High-Quality Sanitary Products: Helped expand access to free hygiene products, ensuring more women have easy access to what they need.
- Pushed for Free Sleep Pods: Played a key role in advocating for sleep pods, providing students with a space to rest.
If elected, I will continue this work and advocate for more support for women on campus:
- Monthly Pilates Classes: Introducing regular Pilates classes to help women ease physical and mental fatigue.
- Free Contraceptive Access: Ensuring all women have access to free contraceptives, giving them the freedom to choose their pregnancy.
- Networking Events: Organizing more networking opportunities for women with other clubs, opening doors to greater career opportunities.
- Free or Discounted Gynecological Examinations: Advocating for regular check-ups to prioritize women’s health.
- Support for Pregnant Students: Promoting campaigns and education to assist pregnant students.
- Legal Support for Working Women: Establishing channels for legal assistance to help women protect their rights.
Your vote will help me continue making our campus more supportive and empowering for all women.
