Hello, my name is Edward Faulkner and I’m running to be your Education Officer and NUS representative with Rebuild.

I'm running because I believe the standard of Education at the University has deteriorated significantly since the pandemic. In 2025, to address this I want to push for the following policies:

• Greater Accountability from faculties and professors for the quality of courses and online materials provided.

• Enhance faculty training programs focused on online teaching, ensuring they are updated annually to reflect the latest in effective course design, to ensure that online materials meet the highest standards of quality and accessibility.

The Rebuild team and I are REAL advocates for students, which is why in 2025 we want to see the following changes made:

• A dedicated helpline for students during SWOTVAC and exams as well as capping exam weighting at 50%.

• Free menstrual products in bathrooms for students in need.

• Additional practical environmental action on campus and pushing for a greener university.

• Making sure the transition to a new university is smooth for students during the merger.
