To purchase your ticket there is a three step process.

1. Log on to the YouX website (top right corner) using your University of Adelaide log on details. Only students of the UoA are able to purchase this course.

2. Select the ticket you wish to purchase (please make sure you are logged into the website using your university log on details before purchasing the ticket.)  Ticket selection is above right next to the image.

3. After purchasing your ticket please CLICK HERE to send your enrolment details via email.

This First Aid & CPR Course includes:

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support

HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

This course will provide you with an understanding of how to apply an immediate emergency response to a suddenly sick or injured person.  The course covers basic life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders or bystanders until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is relevant in a range of situations, including in the home, workplace or within the community,  

This course is delivered in accordance with State/Territory First Aid Codes of Practice, Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines and workplace procedures, allowing your workplace to meet its legal requirements in relation to the provision of first aid in the workplace.

Our professional trainers will guide you through the knowledge and skills to give you the confidence to respond to or manage an emergency situation.  

Course Duration: 8 hours face to face training plus pre-course workbook

Pre Course Online Workbook

An online First Aid workbook needs to be completed prior to course commencement. The online workbook link and log in details are emailed to participants once enrolment is received. 

Assessment

This course employs a variety of assessment methods in order to determine competency. These include verbal questioning, multiple choice questions, practical scenarios and demonstration.
