The AI & ML Student Club is the first club at the University of Adelaide to focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, thus providing an exciting ecosystem for students and employers to interact and connect. Our members engage with the community online and through our in-person events.
Apart from assisting students with concepts in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning; and of course, socializing; the purpose of the club is to bring students and industry partners together, providing a valuable network to both parties. Since Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are such in-demand industries, it is crucial that we provide an industry experience to the students. Giving our club members exposure to the companies involved in researching and working with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning would be our top priority. We aim to help students build strong relationships with the organisations involved in this industry. We plan to organize workshops and networking events for the club members wherein it would be our goal to invite executives from the industry. This would facilitate the process of networking between the students as well as the companies since these would be direct contact events.
Through the AI & ML Student Club, students would be able to partake in numerous activities relating to the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This would also include regular interaction with higher-ups from the industry as that is the best exposure, students can hope to achieve.
