SMSA aims to establish a vibrant community that brings together medical students from Singapore. Our goal is to foster camaraderie, provide academic support, outreach and networking opportunities!

 

  1. To represent and advocate for all Singaporean medical students studying at The University of Adelaide (UoA) Medical School

  2. Education: 

    • To develop a culture of teaching and education for UoA Singaporean medical students 

    • To enhance the educational experience of UoA Singaporean Medical Students through planning theoretical and practical tutorials, workshops, Mock Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs)  and developing a centralised educational resource 

    • To equip UoA Singaporean Medical Students with the necessary skills and training 

  3. Networking: 

    1. To serve as a platform for members to network with other members, alumni, and Singaporean doctors through events
    2. To serve as a liaison between UoA Singaporean medical students and Singaporean Healthcare Institutions
    3. To provide up to date information for members about training and career opportunities in both Singapore and Adelaide. 

  4. Outreach 

    1.  To encourage active participation in community service and outreach activities, both in Adelaide and Singapore
