About Us

Campus: Roseworthy

Well, its oh-fish-al!

Welcome to the home page of Adelaide University's Aquatic Animal Special Interest Group. Colloquially known as “AASIG” or “Fish club”, we are based out at Roseworthy campus, but welcome anyone with a passion for aquatic life to get involved with the events we have planned for 2023.

From sharks and turtles to ornamental fish and aquaculture, there is something for everyone to get involved in or learn about. If you are based at Rosie or just love aquatic life, SEAS the day, and send us a message in a bottle (although an email would be faster) or come out to one of our events and see what we're all about, you never know you might discover something a little different.

Lunch and Learns on fish medicine, shark conservation, leafy sea dragons and nudibranchs

A talk on ‘A Day in the Life of an Aquatic Animal Veterinarian’

Sustainability Week collaboration with Ecoversity and WESIG
