Campus: Roseworthy
The Equine Special Interest Group is a club based at the University of Adelaide Roseworthy Campus and is for veterinary and animal science students with a particular interest in horses and the equine industry.
We run events including numerous ‘lunch and learn’ sessions with veterinarians and industry representatives, evening events, full-day events and industry tours throughout the year. Past events have included ‘Gastroscopy night', tours of Magic Millions Sales, Mounted Police, Morphettville Equine Clinic, and Morphettville Racecourse, castration clinics, and assisting at the Adelaide Equestrian Festival on the cross country course.
