Adelaide University Food and Nutrient Student Association (FANSA) is club, which established on 16th May 2024, serves as a platform for students studying or interested in food and nutrition science. Our mission is to connect like-minded individuals, foster professional networks, and bridge the gap between students, academia, and industry.
FANSA offers a range of events and opportunities, including industry networking nights and research symposia helping students explore the diverse career paths available in food science and nutrition. We also collaborate closely with the Food and Nutrition Science teaching team to ensure students feel supported throughout their academic journey.
Beyond professional development, FANSA spreads the creativity and enjoyment of food through hands-on experiences such as chocolate-making workshops and other interactive activities that show the exciting side of the food industry.
Whether you're pursuing a degree in food science or simply passionate about food and nutrienal health, FANSA is your community to connect, learn, and grow.
