Qualification requirements:
We need HEALTHY MALES (aged 18-70 yr) to participate in our research study investigating the effects of the bitter compound Quinine (the substance that makes tonic water taste bitter) on gut function. You will receive a honorarium of up to $300 if the study is completed (1 screening appointment + 3 study visits).

Eligibility criteria:

*aged 18-70 years
*BMI 19-25
*No significant illness
*Non-smoker
*Not following a modified diet (e.g. gluten free, vegetarian, vegan)
*Not trying to lose or gain weight
