We are looking for a passionate, engaged and enthusiastic freelance writer interested in international education to assist the Insider Guides team. Excellent writing and researching skills, a passion for online content and the capacity to meet deadlines are all essential to this role. You’ll have the chance to join a high-performing editorial team and produce content with a global reach.

Key responsibilities:
- Producing content for a wide range of clients and projects. One week, it might be script writing and an interview with a student leader, the next, marketing copy for an event or a blog post for one of Australia’s leading education providers.
- Abide by editor-issued task briefs to ensure cohesiveness and accuracy in final deliverables.
- Perform thorough online research to ensure all the information included in submitted content is accurate and up to date.
- Conduct interviews via phone or email with students, academics and other relevant industry experts.
- Ensure all submitted content meets the relevant style guide and meets our standards for grammar, tone and quality.
- Ensure all submitted content includes the provided SEO keywords (if applicable) to support our web traffic and search engine rankings.

About you:
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to autonomously write, proofread and edit copy for various platforms and audiences.
- An exemplary level of English language proficiency.
- Superb time management and priority-setting skills, with the capacity to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Requirements:
- Must be based in Adelaide, Australia, and willing to work from our Hindley Street office on a freelance basis
- Must have a valid and active Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Must be able to accept work consistently
- Must be available to start immediately
