Qualification requirements:
Males or Females Needed for Paid Clinical Trial: Nutrients & Gut Function

Location: Adelaide Medical School, Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences Building (North Terrace)
Our research group is looking for healthy male or female volunteers to participate in a research study investigating the effects of quinine (a plant-derived compound) on gut function.
To be eligible you should be:
• Male or female
• Aged 18-70 years
• Healthy weight: your BMI (weight/height squared: kg/m*m) will need to be 19-25
• Healthy, with no significant illness
• No food allergies or not following a specific diet (such as gluten-free or vegetarian)
• Non-smoker
• Not using the contraceptive or hormonal pill (females)
This study will require your presence at a short screening visit, and three separate appointments lasting approximately 5 hours each. Appointments will need to take place during weekday mornings, but we are flexible with availability on weekdays and can often work around your weekly/daily commitments.
The participants will be given a delicious buffet meal, or milkshake containing chocolate and ice cream at every visit!
