Location : Adelaide CBD, Markets
Part-time position : between 15 and 30 hours per week

The duties:
The Store Assistants are responsible but not limited to :
Opening/closing the store
Receiving and storing goods
Basic food preparation, including modified food as per prescribed and handling food whilst complying with infection control practices
Food service
Looking after the presentation of the shop
Managing stocks
Making sales, including cash handling and Eftpos
Providing exceptional customer service and ensure presentation of fresh meat products is at a high standard
Answering customers with special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerance
Ensuring all areas of food safety is adhered to and WHS standards are followed
General kitchen cleaning duties including cleaning and refilling displays, tables…
Roster: Some days from Tuesday to Sunday

The candidate must have/be:
A passion for quality, traditional food
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Acknowledge in French food is highly recommended
Previous experience in food handling especially with meat is advantageous
Ability to present products to an exceptionally high standard
A positive attitude, and a dedicated team player
A focus on continuous improvement
Passion to exceed individual and store sales targets
Flexibility across retail trading hours including Saturdays and late night trades on Friday
A current liquor licence is advantageous
A current food handlers certificate is advantageous

Key requirements :
Verification of qualifications/licenses might be undertaken along with background police check for all shortlisted candidates.
