Details

Peer Connect is a peer-led program that supports students from their very first steps at Adelaide University. Through proactive and timely outreach, trained Peer Connect Leaders engage with commencing students early in their journey, providing guidance, encouragement, and meaningful connections that make university life welcoming from day one. As students’ progress, Peer Connect Leaders continue to build a strong sense of belonging by linking them with peers, services, and opportunities that enrich their experience. The program fosters community, builds confidence, and creates lasting connections that enhance both student success and the overall university experience.

As a Peer Connect Leader, you’ll play a key role in welcoming new students and providing them with direction and advice about uni life. You’ll be the first point of contact for many new students, welcoming them to Adelaide University and helping them start their journey with confidence. You’ll conduct welcome and mid-study check-in calls, respond to student enquiries, and support university teams with designated tasks. This is a casual employment role with Adelaide University, where you’ll also have the chance to share your own experiences and make a real impact on the student journey
