What inspired you to engage with the office and role(s) you currently hold?
Students deserve open representation that will advocate on their behalf. As an environmentalist and feminist, I hope to ensure that the decisions of the Board are fair and equitable for students.
What do you hope to achieve in your office and role(s) in 2025?
I am looking forward to advocating on the importance of maintaining student culture on campus, ensuring that student welfare is prioritised, and improving union benefits.
What is your number one tip for a new student?
Spend some time wandering around campus and in all the buildings, you'll find all the cafes and some great quiet places to study. And no matter what, do not leave a 2,000+ word essay worth a major part of your grade for the last week; there's a reason your tutor told you about it at the start of the semester...
What is something—big or small—that you are really good at?
Following an obsession back in year 3, I can still match every national flag.
What one thing do you wish you had known when you started Uni?
The importance of joining as many clubs and student associations as possible. They are great for social events, building friendships and I highly recommend getting involved as much as you can.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
My weekends are usually spent with my family, catching up on my uni work or playing competition tennis.
