IGM Checklist
IGM stands for Inaugural General Meeting. This is your first formal meeting as a Club where you elect your committee and table and approve the constitution.
We recommend advertising your IGM at least 2 weeks prior to the meeting. Make sure you share the agenda and any other relevant papers with those who are attending in advance.
- At least 10 people must be in attendance at an IGM (and indeed any general meeting).
- At least 50% of attendees must be current students at the University of Adelaide.
- Minutes must be taken, clearly outlining the time, date and location of the meeting and including details of the attendees.
- Generally chaired by the person who has been putting the Club together.
